Direct access to Allegheny National Forest trails for riding
The back of the ranch directly accesses the extensive forest trails of the Allegheny National Forest. The trails vary from the well maintained snowmobile trails to the more challenging mountain trails. A moderate two hour ride from the Black Caddis Ranch loops over 8 miles, intersecting the 97 mile long North Country trail and passing by the Flying W ranch.
The Black Caddis Ranch is Horse and Snowmobile Friendly! There is lots of room to park both truck and trailer, an open pasture, a stream on the property with hay and straw available.
The Black Caddis Ranch is located at 161 E. Rt. 666, 2 miles past the Flying W Ranch, 1/4 mile past Cougar Bobs Kelletville Tavern, on the left side of the road. The phone number is 330-283-0952. Ken or Peggy Butler will answer your questions.
