Early Spring at the Black Caddis Ranch in Kelletville PA

Spring in the mountains is about two weeks behind Ohio. The trout are active, one fisherman we talked to today caught his limit yesterday in less than two hours! Some perspective about the pictures. The large stream is the Tionesta Creek, which our property faces. The small stream is a spring fed brook that runs along our property, officially named Lil Minister Creek. We call it Fossil Creek, because almost every rock is full of fossils. The house is pictured from the back, the mountain in front of the house is directly across the Tionesta. A large tree fell, blocking the camp road. No City to call and have them take it away!
